Grant Phillips

A keen believer in the personal client experience, Grant takes enormous pleasure in educating people and building their financial literacy.

Beginning his career in bookkeeping, Grant offered the personal touch to small businesses in Nanaimo for more than 12 years before broadening his skills and experience into general accounting. After working for large organizations for almost a decade, and receiving his CPA designation, Grant decided to launch his own accounting firm in 2011.

Grant’s pride in his work and his expert advice has helped hundreds of people in the mid-island region to become more financially successful. His particular passion is finding solutions to personal and business tax needs, whether through income splitting, incorporation, better record-keeping, or streamlining finances.

Despite the demands of managing two offices and a diverse client base, Grant still finds time to be involved in his community. He has volunteered as a soccer coach, and as treasurer for the Nanaimo Curling club, and currently serves as treasurer for his children’s school, as well as for the International Widows and Orphans Fund.
